Μουσικές Παρεμβάσεις στην περιοχή της Μαρίνας Δέλτα Φαλήρου

Η περιοχή του Φαληρικού Δέλτα αποτελεί
κόμβο για τις περιοχές των Πειραιά, Νοτίων Προαστίων και Κέντρου
της Αθήνας. Η συγκεκριμένη περιοχή έχει ως τοπόσημα το Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο Ίδρυμα Σταύρος
Νιάρχος και την Πλατεία Νερού, που συνδέονται μεταξύ τους, μέσω της γέφυρας της
«Εσπλανάδας».
Ειδικότερα, η πλατεία Νερού
είναι γνωστή από το μουσικό festival
που εξελίσσεται κάθε χρόνο, από το 2005. Ωστόσο, στην ίδια περιοχή βρίσκονται
τα Ολυμπιακά Ακίνητα που εξυπηρετούσαν τις αθλητικές εγκαταστάσεις το 2004.
Η πλατεία Νερού χαρακτηρίζεται
από το ολιγοήμερο φεστιβάλ που λαμβάνει χώρα μία φορά τον χρόνο, ενώ τον
υπόλοιπο καιρό βρίσκεται ανενεργή από πλευράς δράσεων και πολιτισμού. Αντίθετα,
το γειτονικό Κέντρο Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σ. Νιάρχος βρίσκεται σε διαρκή εγρήγορση
μέσω πολιτιστικών δρώμενων. Έτσι, εντείνεται η πόλωση μεταξύ των δύο τοποσήμων
και το παραλιακό μέτωπο της περιοχής υποβαθμίζεται ακόμα περισσότερο.
Στόχος της παρέμβασης είναι
τόσο η επανάχρηση και αναδιαμόρφωση των υπαρχουσών κτιριακών δομών , όσο και η
εκ νέου δημιουργία παρεμβάσεων στην περιοχή της Μαρίνας· σε μια προσπάθεια
επαναπροσδιορισμού του παραλιακού μετώπου της περιοχής της Καλλιθέας, καθώς και
συμπόρευσης δραστηριοτήτων των δύο τοποσήμων σε μόνιμη βάση.
Χρησιμοποιώντας τη μουσική
έννοια της «Αντίστιξης» , η νέα σύνθεση της περιοχής συντελείται από τον
διάλογο της «σταθερής» γραμμικότητας που προϋπάρχει (κτίρια Ολυμπιακών Ακινήτων)
και της νέας «κινητής» γραμμικότητας (εργαστήρια Μουσικής) που δημιουργείται,
καθώς και από τις σημειακές παρεμβάσεις που προστίθενται μέσα σε αυτή τη
διαλεκτική. Επιπλέον, μέσα σε αυτή την αντιστικτική λογική δημιουργούνται ζεύγη
μόνιμων και εφήμερων παρεμβάσεων.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η πρόταση
περιλαμβάνει την ενοποίηση και επανάχρηση των 3 κτιριακών δομών των Ακινήτων
μέσω ενός κεντρικού lobby,
καθώς και τη δημιουργία ενός υπερυψωμένου περιπάτου στο δώμα αυτών , με σκοπό
την ενίσχυση της σχέσης κτιρίων – Πλατείας Νερού - Εσπλανάδας – Ιδρύματος Νιάρχος.
Η επαναπροσδιορισμένη κτιριακή δομή έχει ως πρόταση τη δημιουργία χώρων μάθησης
/mediatheque
, εκθέσεων, γραφείων διοίκησης και εστίασης.
Ακόμα, η ανάγκη σύνδεσης των
μόνιμων μουσικών/καλλιτεχνικών δράσεων του Πολιτιστικού Κέντρου και της
εφήμερης κατάστασης του EjectFestivalοδηγεί
στη δημιουργία ενός νέου πυρήνα εκπαιδευτικού χαρακτήρα που δρα ως γέφυρα
μεταξύ αυτών, με άξονα τις μουσικές δραστηριότητες.
Η κυματοειδής μορφή των Εργαστηρίων
προέκυψε από τον κοινό τόπο Αρχιτεκτονικής - Μουσικής και συγκεκριμένα μέσω των
αναλογιών της ακολουθίας Fibonacci.
Επομένως, τα εργαστήρια Μουσικής ,που προτείνονται , λειτουργούν ως ένα νέο
τοπόσημο – γλυπτό του παραλιακού μετώπου , που ενώνει έμπρακτα την κοινότητα
των όμορων δήμων.
Οι παρεμβάσεις εφήμερου
χαρακτήρα (Ηχο-παιχνίδια) διερευνούν τη βιωματική / σωματική σχέση ήχου –
ανθρώπου. Ο ήχος στις 2 βασικές μορφές του : φυσικός και τεχνητός. Οι σημειακές
αυτές παρεμβάσεις δεν παρεμποδίζουν τη ροή της κίνησης. Είναι εκεί για να
υπενθυμίζουν την εγγενή σχέση μας με τον ήχο , και κατ’ επέκταση με τη μουσική.
Επιπλέον, η πρόταση
διαμόρφωσης της περιοχής της Πλατείας Νερού ενισχύει εκδηλώσεις / δράσεις
ανοιχτού τύπου καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια του έτους.
Τέλος, προστίθενται εστίες
πρασίνου που λείπουν από την περιοχή, διαμορφώνοντας έναν ενιαίο περίπατο.
Τελικά,
η κατάσταση μεταξύ ροής και στατικότητας μεταφράζεται στην πρόταση ως
διαλεκτική νέου- υπάρχοντος , εφήμερου – μόνιμου , γραμμικού –σημειακού, χρόνου
– χώρου και , όπως προκύπτει, συμπόρευσης Αρχιτεκτονικής - Μουσικής.

The area of Faliro Delta is a node for
the areas of Piraeus, Southern Suburbs and the Center of Athens. The landmarks
of thisarea are the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center and Water Plaza,
which are connected to each other by the bridge of “Esplanáda”.
In particular, Water Plaza is known for the music
festival that has been taking place every year,since 2005. However, in the same
area the Olympic Propertiesare located, which served the sports facilities in
2004.
Water Plaza is characterized by the short day festival
that takes place once a year, while the rest of the year it is inactive in
terms of activities and culture. On the contrary, the neighboring S. Niarchos FoundationCultural
Center is constantly awake through cultural events. Thus, the polarization
between the two landmarks intensifies and the coastal front of the area
degrades even more.
The aim of the intervention is both the reuse and
remodeling of the existing building structures, as well as the re-creation of
interventions in the area of Marina;in an attempt to redefine the coastal front of
the area of Kallithea, as well as the coexistence of activities of the two
landmarks on a permanent basis.
Using the musical concept of “Counterpoint” , the new
composition of the area is structured by the dialogue of the "fixed"
linearity that pre-exists (Olympic real estate buildings) and the new
"mobile" linearity (Music Workshops) that is created, as well as the
point interventions that are added within this dialectic. Moreover, within this
contrapuntal logic, pairs of permanent and ephemeral interventions are being created.
More specifically, the proposal includes the unification
and reuse of the 3 building structures of the OlympicsProperties through a
central lobby, as well as the creation of an elevated promenade on their roof,
in order to strengthen the relationship between buildings - Water Plaza -
Esplanade –S. Niarchos. The redefined building structure proposes the creation
of learning spaces/ mediatheque, exhibitions, administration offices and
restaurant/ bar/coffee shopareas.
Furthermore, the need to connect the permanent musical
/ artistic activities of the Cultural Center and the ephemeral situation of the
Eject Festival leads to the creation of a new core of educational character
that acts as a bridge between them, focusing on musical activities.
The wavy form of the Workshops emerged from the common
place of Architecture - Music and specifically through the proportions of the
Fibonacci sequence. Therefore, the proposed Music Workshops function as a new
landmark - sculpture of the coastal front, which practically unites the
community of surroundingareas.
Ephemeral interventions (Sound-games) explore the
experiential / physical relationship between sound and human. The sound in its
2 basic forms: natural and artificial. These point interventions do not impede
the flow of movement. They are there in order to remind us of our inherent
relationship with sound, and therefore with music.
In addition, the proposal of configuration of the area
of Water Plazareinforces open type events / performances throughout the year.
Finally, green hotspots ,that are missing from the
area, are being added, forming an integrated promenade.
Finally, the state between flow and staticity is
translated in the proposal as a dialectic between new-existing,
ephemeral-permanent, linear-point, time-space and, as it turns out, the
coexistence of Architecture-Music.
